Gloves are the most commonly used protection tool in the lab, after safety goggles. There are many kinds of gloves and different gloves serve different purposes.

1. Natural rubber (latex) gloves


Natural rubber Latex Gloves are usually unlined and come in a variety of styles, including cleaning styles and sterile styles. These gloves provide effective protection against bases, alcohols, and a variety of chemical dilution aqueous solutions, as well as good protection against aldehydes and ketones.

2. Vinyl Gloves


Vinyl gloves contain no allergens, no powder, low dust content, low iron content, strong anti-chemical corrosion ability, can almost protect all dangerous chemicals, also have anti-static performance. Thickened and treated surfaces (such as wool) can also resist general mechanical wear. Thickened surfaces can also resist cold. The operating temperature is -4℃ ~ 66℃. Can be used in a dust-free environment.

Classification standard for vinyl gloves:

Grade A: no holes on the surface of the gloves, uniform powder amount, no obvious powder, transparent milky white color, no obvious ink spot, no impurities, all parts of the size and physical properties are in line with customer requirements.

Grade B products, slight stains, 3 small black spots (1mm≤ diameter ≤2mm), or a large number of small black spots (1mm≤ diameter) (>5), deformation, impurities (1mm≤ diameter), slightly yellow color, severe nail prints, cracks, size and physical performance of each part do not meet the requirements.

3. PE gloves


PE gloves are Disposable gloves made from polyethylene. It has waterproof, anti-oil, anti-bacteria, acid and alkali, and other functions. Tips: Simply put, PE gloves can touch food and are non-toxic.PVC gloves are best not to touch food, especially food with high heat.

4. Nitrile gloves


Nitrile gloves are generally classified as disposable, medium unlined, and light-lined gloves. The gloves protect against oil (including animal fat), xylene, polyethylene, and aliphatic solvents. It also prevents most pesticide formulations, which are commonly used for biological ingredients and other chemicals. Nitrile gloves do not contain protein, amino compounds, and other harmful substances, rarely produce allergies. Silicon-free, anti-static properties, suitable for electronic industry production needs.Low surface chemical residue, low ion content, small particle content, suitable for strict clean room environment.

5. Neoprene gloves

Similar to natural rubber for comfort, neoprene gloves are resistant to light, aging, flexure, acid and alkali, ozone, combustion, heat, and oil.

6. Butyl rubber gloves

Butyl rubber is only used as medium unlined glove material and can be used as a glove box, anaerobic box, incubator, and operating box. Ultra-durable, special rubber synthetic glove for fluoric acid, aqua, nitric acid, strong acid, strong alkali, toluene, alcohol, etc.

7. PVA gloves

8. TPE gloves
